One of Roger’s co-workers suggested he meet a friend, Doctor Margaret “Migs” Muldrow. Migs did work in Africa outside of her medical practice. So a dinner was planned and a great time was had by all. Dr. Muldrow spent her childhood in Ethiopia. She has formed a board of medical professionals and created Village Health Partnership. VHP is involved in community based and driven programs to reduce health risks to pregnant women. Most of the work is performed in far west and southwest Ethiopia. Migs and the other board members visit these projects annually.
